Our story

Hi, I'm Matt

I built the first Textapp for myself. I wanted to track my own nutrition, and every app I tried asked me to download something, make an account and look up each food one item at a time. So I made one I could just text: "two eggs and toast" and it logged it.

My friends and family started using it, and they loved it so much that I kept going. Habits, water, sleep, mood, reminders, a language partner, a daily fact: each one became its own Textapp with its own number, all working the same simple way.

What inspired me most was seeing how much it helped people eat better. When tracking is as easy as sending a text, people actually keep doing it.

What I'm building

Textapp is a family of apps you text. Nothing to download, no account to create. Each app is an AI that does one job well, and one subscription covers all of them.

I want to share these apps with as many people as they can help, and I'm always happy to hear how to make them better or which app should come next. Send me a note any time.
