What is a Textapp? An app you use entirely by text message. Each Textapp has its own phone number and does one job: log meals, check in on a habit, set reminders, answer questions and more. You text it like any other contact.

 

How do I start? Text Hi to the app's number. That's it. Every app's number is on its page under Apps.

 

Do I need to download anything or make an account? No. It works on any phone that can text, with a US number, and your number is your account.

 

Which phones work? Any phone that can send and receive text messages: iPhone, Android or a basic phone.

 

Is a real person texting me? No. Every Textapp is an AI: its replies are written by software, and it says so.

 

 

Pricing

 

How much does it cost? Your first 20 messages are free. After that, one subscription of $9.99 a month covers every Textapp.

 

Do I pay separately for each app? No. One subscription unlocks all of them.

 

How do I cancel? Text STOP to any Textapp at any time and the messages stop.

 

Will I be charged for the texts? Textapp doesn't charge per message. Your carrier's usual message and data rates may apply.

 

 

Privacy and safety

 

Is my number safe? Textapp, LLC is registered with US carriers for fully compliant business texting. We never sell or rent your information, and we don't use your messages for advertising. Details are in our privacy policy.

 

How long do you keep my messages? Messages are deleted 12 months after your last text. To have your data deleted sooner, email contact@textapp.co.

 

Can a Textapp give medical or professional advice? No. Textapps are tools for tracking and everyday questions, not doctors, therapists or teachers. For anything serious, talk to a professional.
